In what has become an annual winter tradition, the Roeliff Jansen Community Library will once again partner with select area restaurants in the popular “Dine Out for the Library” program, which encourages “dining local” to raise money for children’s programming.
The winter months can be hard on restaurants because people don’t go out as much. We see this as an opportunity to help local restaurants by encouraging our patrons to “dine local” more often at this time of year. You can to do good on two fronts — for your local restaurants and for your library. And, of course you get to enjoy some tasty meals.
On select dates from February 21st through April 17, eleven Roe Jan area restaurants will host the “Community Dine Out for the Library” and donate ten percent of their dining revenues on those dates to benefit support resources for the library’s outreach programs to encourage early literacy and learning skills as well as educational and entertainment programs, including lectures, concerts, and movies for all ages.
Dates and participating restaurants are listed above. The Dine Out meal is dinner unless otherwise noted.
