Keep Calm, Decorate On

first published 4/2/20

One thing is for sure as we all #stayhome, if ever we had a chance to restyle and decorate our interior spaces, this is it!

Our friend and client, Mike, who recently moved from Lakeville, CT to an amazing renovated 1890’s mill building in Providence, RI had much to unpack when he became home-bound. We loved getting a note from him with the photos you see here attached. I think his words provide some great advice, “Decorating has helped keep me sane. It’s forced me to focus on one thing at a time, which has been soothing during so much upheaval and uncertainty.”

With some remote design consultation from Dana before and after the move, he has really settled in and made the once empty space into a layered and unique home that reflects his personality and style!

Living room now

Note the Hammertown goodies peppered throughout: Sloane sofa and pillows, floor lamp, vintage Asian bench and bar stools 🙂

AND, isn’t the kitchen FABULOUS?!

Office area now

Kudos Mike, you have really made your new place a HOME!

There’s no place like home!

    Joan,
    Hi. Lovely apartment.
The coffee table .. is it a Noguchi or a knockoff and either way, do you sell this coffee table?
    Many thanks.
