Sneak Peeks of Two of Our Exterior Paint Consultations

A Sneak Peek of Two Exterior Paint Consultations
Now that we’re spending more time outside your home you’ll probably be noticing the exterior of your house. Is it in need of an update…a new paint color perhaps? Well, you KNOW we have some experience and suggestions about that! In fact, we have two recent exterior paint consultation projects we can give you sneak peeks of right now.

This first home (in Salisbury CT) is an ongoing project and not quite finished. Here’s where we started…

Our clients desperately needed to paint the house and were looking for help.  There was siding work that had to be done in the front of the house, lead paint and other issues, but we were able to get a start on the back of the house. The faded pale blue paint gave little character to the beautiful bones of the house. We recommended a dark facade and gave them a selection of three colors. They wanted a color with some hints of blue and green, so it was decided Benjamin Moore’s Deep River would be the best fit.

Along with the Grand Canyon Red door, we felt it would add drama to the house and draw attention to the architecture. It will also provide a beautiful backdrop for all seasonal plantings. Best of all, the owners are just thrilled with how the house is looking and say they are constantly getting people stopping by and commenting on how amazing the house looks!  We’ll follow up on this story when the front of the house is finished.

Our Second Project (in Falls Village)

Wanda Furman says she always looks at the surrounding area of the property and talks with the home owner as to how the exterior could feel and fit in with the landscape. The process is looking at various color choices outside and seeing how they blend with plantings, stone walls and the over-all esthetic of the home. Wanda likes to keep all the trim the same color as much as possible to help keep the look cohesive.
New Color:  Benjamin Moore Greystone
Our client is so happy.  They love the color and feel like it was really meant for the house. The clients thanked Wanda profusely for helping them cut through their “obsessionalism” when it came to paint colors. There were so many choices but Wanda helped them narrow it down. For an exterior paint consultation, email
