I love going to Paley’s Farm Market in the Spring to hunt for garden plants, flower baskets, and more.
Located in Sharon, Connecticut, Paley’s Farm Market is your source for all that is LOCAL. In their garden center they offer the finest annuals, perennials and nursery stock for your landscaping needs as well as soils, garden pottery, gardening tools & supplies, seeds and more.
In Paley’s food market they carry the freshest produce available beginning in mid-May. Many items are grown right on the premises such as sweet corn (THE BEST EVER), heirloom tomatoes, herbs, fingerling potatoes, and so much more.
Charlie began Paley’s Farm Market as a teenager. He grew sweet corn on a two-acre parcel owned by his father, Morris Paley. The business grew every year. In 1982 Charlie moved to his present location. The business grew from a road side farm stand selling locally grown produce to a full scale garden center, farm market and fine food market.
Beautiful “home-grown” healthy plants, a knowledgeable staff, an amazing selection, and it’s a local family-owned business. What more could you ask for? How about owner Charlie Paley’s dog Wolfie…I just love him!
No wonder Paley’s is celebrating their 36th year in business. Congratulations Charlie!!
