OUT WITH THE OLD…
AND INTO OUR NEW FABULOUS WAREHOUSE!
Our old warehouse is cleared out (thanks to all of you!) and we’re officially, as of this week, in charge of our own local warehouse
IMPROVED FLEXIBILITY • LESS WAITING TIME
• REGULAR DELIVERIES TO NYC (+ other boroughs) and SUBURBS
• IMMEDIATE LOCAL DELIVERY OF SMALLER PIECES
Our very own amazing Hammertown team will be running our new warehouse and we’re working with a highly-respected LOCAL moving company to bring you the best and most efficient delivery service available. Over the next few weeks, our big new warehouse will be filling up with gorgeous new furniture from the finest brands in the business (Mitchell Gold|Bob Williams, Cisco Brothers & Lee Industries) and all will be ready-to-go right to your home. We’ll have more flexibility than ever before. No need to order and wait 6-8 weeks or more for delivery.
We’ll also be expanding our market by making deliveries to NYC and other boroughs (and the suburbs in between), on a more regular basis than in the past.
And for our local customers, we’ll now have easy access to smaller pieces making immediate delivery (and gratification) a real thing!
WE’RE ALREADY FILLING OUR WAREHOUSE WITH
Spread the word, and make sure you get family and friends to sign up for our weekly emails (click here to sign up). In them you’ll learn about our in-stock furniture and our Red Tag assortment, as well as interesting events, design stories and weekly recipes.
Use our Hammertown Design Team. We’ve been known to furnish houses and apartments affordably in less than two weeks and can do as much or as little as you want. But what we can promise you is your home will look like YOUR home and your furniture…not like something off a showroom floor.
WE’VE GOT LOTS OF STOCK!
There have been many chapters in the Hammertown story over the past 32 years..and this idea of taking charge of our warehouse and delivery service is another important one. To many folks, Hammertown was a crazy business model to begin with. Who’d have thought our humble beginnings as one small room in a barn, in a tiny town, in Dutchess County would blossom into 3 stores. To me, it was my yellow brick road–I followed my passions and believing the rest (and people) would come.
And, indeed they did. Humbleness and gratitude to all of you who have supported us over the years and hoping that we continue week by week to build new followers. As consulting gurus try to figure out how to get the millennials to connect with old-school retail establishments and shops, we’re loved by all generations. I think it’s because we have grown into a community of people who care about each other and our customers. We value the idea of inspiring our customers. We care about what is real and meaningful to us and we translate that into helping you have a home that is loved and cherished.
Thank you from my humble heart. Here’s to a great new beginning.
