Winter Movie Nights in the comfort of your own home!

During these long, cold winter nights, settling in for the evening with a movie or series in the cozy comfort of home is the perfect way to spend an evening. These days with cable movie channels like HBO, Showtime, Cinemax (and even TCM) plus popular streaming services like Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime, the choices are endless. Hammertown friend, film producer & wonderful photographer Carolyn Marks Blackwood, recently posted a list of her favorite top 20 films on her Facebook page.  Here’s her original post:

“Someone asked what my list of top ALL TIME movies are. I started making a top 20 list which turned into a top 109 list. Boy, anything to not do my work- but I am sure I am missing a bunch- and they are not in any ranking or order- Love to hear which ones I missed and should add!”

And, by the way, if you’re not up for a movie and ready for a long-term commitment, check out some of my favorite Netflix original series: “The Crown”, “Alias Grace” and “Ozark”; on Hulu “The Handmaids Tale” or on Amazon Prime “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”.  So, pop up some popcorn tonight and get busy watching!
