The Millbrook Horse Trials, considered one of the more challenging courses on the East Coast, is able to attract Olympic riders. Considered the triathlon of the equestrian world, Eventing includes all three equine disciplines: Dressage, Cross Country and Stadium Jumping.
The event is held on over 100 acres of beautiful land which is part of the Dutchess Land Conservancy.
It is exciting to watch top horses and Olympic competitors gallop the Advanced cross country course on Saturday or take in the Stadium jumping while enjoying the Patrons Lunch — a benefit for the Dutchess Land Conservancy. In addition you can also watch those horses or riders just learning from the more experienced throughout the weekend.
The weekend promises action and nail-biting competition. Stroll the beautiful protected property while you gasp at the athleticism of these horses and riders. Entrance is free; food is available on the grounds.
