The Variety of Chinese Noodles

11 am – 1:30 pm
$55 per person

The course includes an introduction to the main types and the preparation of 3 classic dishes, each based on a different type of noodle. Attendees will also learn about a number of unusual ingredients that are key to making the dishes authentic.

The menu includes:

  • Lo Mein (What it really means and how to get that “restaurant taste”)
  • Ants Climb a Tree (A Sichuan specialty that tastes better than if sounds)
  • Dan-Dan Mien ( The famous street-vendor noodles )

With 40 years experience making Chinese food Michael has catered weddings, cocktail parties, dinner parties, brunches in and around Columbia County since 2006

Conducted Chinese cooking lessons at MCLA (The Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts); demonstrated Chinese cooking at The Viking Culinary Institute in Bryn Mawr, PA; volunteer chef for Let’s Eat!, the catering group of the Spencertown Academy
