Labor Tent Sale… our best ever!

Thanks to you, our customers, this year’s Labor Day Tent Sale was a huge success….

Hammertown Barn was rocking and rolling this past weekend.  By the end of our first day, Saturday, we were looking for more furniture for the tent!

On Saturday morning, our Early Bird Buying program — which allows shoppers early entrance to the tent (from 8 am - 9 am) for a $40 donation to a not-for-profit group — raised over $1,200 for The Good Dog Foundation.  But that wasn’t it … even people who came later in the day wanted to make donations and we ended up raising over $1,800 for this wonderful organization.

People were loading their cars and trucks with whatever they could carry out.  Our terrific delivery company, A.G.S., was also on-site to schedule deliveries –  many customers received large furniture purchases that very day!

Our tent sales have become real events for many of our customers.  This group of lovely ladies were here for a “Hammertown Bachelorette Shopping Party”!  That’s a first for us but they sure were having a good time so perhaps it’s something we should be promoting in the future.
