We are very excited to welcome Christine Krause, Landscape Design Studio to our Hammertown Choices family. As you may have read in our recent blog post (click here to read), Christine has been working with us, both at Dana’s and my home and at our store locations to help carry our “love where you live” philosophy through to the exterior garden areas. Her work has been transformational and yet has kept true to our style and the soul of our property. That is what we love about working with Christine.
If you have any garden/landscape design needs, give Christine a call. Believe me, you won’t be disappointed.
I am so excited about this affiliation with Hammertown. I believe that setting up your home and garden are inseparable and that the garden becomes an immediate extension of your interior styling. It is a lovely experience to work with people who really want to extend their living space outward. A good garden plan provides a setting for the house and is, as a result, essential to home design. Your garden, like your home, is a place for individual expression of your lifestyle. I would love to help you create memorable environments around your home. My goal as a landscape designer is to exceed expectations and provide you with hands-on design on a boutique level.
Underlying all of my design work is a conscientious sensitivity to the existing environment, or “sense of place”. My approach begins with a focus on the overall feel of the site created by the architecture, geography, history, existing plant life, and specific features of the location. The result is a sensitive integration of location and buildings, while balancing practicalities and aesthetics.
My work ranges from city gardens to countryside properties. My passion is to create those “AAH” moments in your life –those moments when a connection is made and one knows within seconds they are in a special place.
A one hour, on-site consultation fee is $100 which will be deducted from the design fee should we continue to work together on a design project.
